When seated properly, one knee should be flexed about 5-to-10 degrees at the bottom of your revolution and the bottom of the foot parallel with the floor.

Now that you are set up and ready to go, it’s time to pedal. You may just want to go the same pace for the same amount of time during every workout. That’s fine. If you want to mix it up though, the stationary bike has plenty of options. On some brands, there are programs that simulate hills or aim to keep your heart rate above a certain level.
